Florence MA in Renaissance Art

How to Apply

Candidates for this program typically have pursued undergraduate studies in cultural history with an emphasis on the visual arts and ideally have a working knowledge of the Italian language. Students accepted to the program who have not had the opportunity to study Italian are encouraged to begin to do so prior to their first semester of graduate study by enrolling in programs such as the Italian School offered each summer by Middlebury College or Wellesley College’s online AP® Italian Language and Culture course.

Prospective students should apply through the regular admissions process of the College of Arts & Sciences, Department of Art & Music Histories. Applications are reviewed by the Department of Art & Music Histories’ Graduate Admissions Committee.

The application deadline is January 15.
